The Department offers U.G. programme to the students. UG program follow Semester Pattern with a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS).
The Department has a highly qualified staff. They are actively engaged in teaching/Sports Coaching as well as research. They have published research papers in reputed National and International Journals.
The department is having good no. Sports Equipments. The Department is supported by Play Ground facility, varies Inter Collegiate Sports Tournament, varies Sports Coaching Camp. The Department is supported bt Seminar Hall and ICT Hall which is used by the staff in process of teaching like PPT presentations, videos and computer aided techniques related to syllabus to study different and current trends in Sports.
Department was also organized National Conference on“Current Trends in Physical Education & Yoga” (in CTPEY-2017) on 16 February, 2018 as an attempt to improve the overall knowledge of Physical Education & Sports
