About Department:
The Department of Chemistry of Indira Gandhi (Sr.) College, CIDCO, Nanded established in 2001. we are running undergraduate course in Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry. The chemistry department has a mission of imparting high-quality teaching in cutting-edge thrust areas of chemical science, the students have access to a seminar Hall, Central library where a large collection of international and national reference books of Chemistry are housed. The department has smart classrooms and procured instruments for UG students with the support of UGC grants and research project. The department of chemistry organized national seminar on Recent Trends in Organic Chemistry (RTOC-2022). The number of alumni students have qualified NET/SET examinations in last several years. The faculty of department has published research papers in National, International journals during 2016-2022.
To enhance our status as an outstanding teaching centre which is recognized for its quality teaching, innovative research to promote and attracts the best students.
