About Department
Welcome to U.G. Department of Electronics, Indira Gandhi (Sr.) College, CIDCO, Nanded. Department of Electronics running since 2001. The department started it’s development with limited infrastructure and facilities under the able leadership of Dr. G. N. Shinde. Following dignitaries have worked as Head of Electronics Department in chronological order.

The Department offers U.G. programme to the students. It also offers ‘Solid State Devices’ as Certificate course to enhance professional development the students of the institution. UG program follows semester pattern with a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS).
The Department has a highly qualified and enthusiastic staff. They are actively engaged in teaching as well as research and use advanced teaching techniques like animations, PPT presentations, videos and computer aided techniques related to syllabus .All staff members participate in different seminars, conferences and workshops. They have published research papers in reputed national and international journals.
The department is having one well equipped laboratory with all infrastructural facilities and equipments for U.G. practicals as well as separate dark room for practicals of spectroscopy. The teaching learning process is facilitated by conducting seminars for students, conducting unit tests, conducting extra classes, doubt solving sessions . Guest lectures of expertise are also arranged.
